Instructions:


1. Preparation:
– Wash and cut the guava into small pieces, discarding the seeds if preferred.

2. Cooking:
– Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
– Add mustard seeds and let them sputter.
– Add fenugreek seeds and let them turn golden brown.
– Add the slit green chili and sauté for a few seconds.

3. Guava Addition:
– Now, add the chopped guava pieces to the pan.
– Stir well to coat the guava with the tempered seeds and chili.

4. Spices:
– Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix everything well.
– Add a small amount of water (about 1/4 cup) to help cook the guava and spices evenly.

5. Simmer:
– Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the guava pieces are tender but not mushy.

6. Finishing Touches:
– Once the guava is cooked, turn off the heat.
– Add the lemon juice and mix well.
– Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

7. Serve:
