Instructions:

1. Prepare the Batter:
– In a mixing bowl, combine sliced onions, gram flour, rice flour, chopped coriander, green chili, grated ginger, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
– Mix well to coat the onion slices with the dry ingredients.
– Gradually add water, mixing continuously until you get a thick batter. Make sure not to add too much water; the batter should just coat the onions.

2. Preheat the Appe Pan:
– Heat the appe pan on medium heat and lightly grease each dent with a few drops of oil.

3. Cooking the Pakoda:
– Drop spoonfuls of the onion batter into the cavities of the appe pan.
– Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes or until the sides turn golden brown.
– Flip the pakodas using a skewer or a fork and cook for another 3-4 minutes until evenly cooked and crispy.

4. Serve:
– Serve hot with chutney or yogurt for a healthy, delicious snack.
